I work on attack detection at Abnormal Security, building ML systems that read email and catch fraud. That work has stopped over a billion dollars in scams so far. My favorite problems are the ones where the framing is off, or where one missing dataset would make the whole thing easy.
Everything else on this site is a side project. There are more of them than I have time for.
